NON-INVASIVE GLUCOSE METER - Controls glucose level in blood without any pain

One of the priorities of improving the quality of life of patients with diabetes is the creation of non-invasive glucose meters, i.e. glucose meters which are not required to obtain a drop of blood or other body fluids.

Basics of optical noninvasive glucose meter registration

The processor block of the device is connected with the operating computer via USB interface, receiving orders and giving data, and also being powered from standard port USB.

Data acquisition speed from photo-sensors compose from several tens measurements a second to one measurement during the long period (set by the external operating order).

Non-invasive glucose meter

  • Device includes the optical sensors, weighing not more than 180g, having broadband and infrared LEDs.
  • Sensor covers an area of 6 square centimeters.
  • The processing unit is connected with the computer by the USB interface, receiving the commands and giving the data, and also supplies from a standard port USB.

  • Novelty

  • Calculation of the glucose level in the blood based on the radiation measurement in the optical glucose absorption spectrum in three ranges.
  • Filtering in the water absorption spectra etc.
  • Retrieving data from photo-sensors with the speed of few dozen samples per second.
  • Oversampling.
  •

    Non-invasive glucose meter

    Working process:

  • Switch on the sensor.
  • Put the finger on the sensor.
  • Hold the finger on the sensor for 15 seconds.
  • The result is obtained.

  • Non-invasive glucose meter - advantages

  • Non-invasive - to receive data there is no need to do a finger puncture.
  • Time for results’ obtaining - up to 20 seconds.
  • Reliable results (the standard error of the results in relation to invasive glucose meters among 80 people - no more than 7%).
  • Compact - a device weighs less than 180 g.
  • Ease of use - to produce the result you only need to fix the finger on the sensor.
  • Economical - no extra consumable materials.

  • Certificate: EU DIRECTIVE - DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY - Available in 2017
